Twirlio is a sensory play app made for young children. We built it to be safe and calm, and that includes how we treat privacy. In short: Twirlio does not collect any personal information.
Information we collect
None. Twirlio has no accounts, no sign-in, and no forms. We do not collect, store, or share your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, or any other personal data.
Microphone
Twirlio can use your device's microphone for one thing: to detect blowing so the fans spin faster. The audio is analyzed live on your device to measure how loud the sound is. It is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere, and we don't perform speech recognition. If you decline microphone access, the app works exactly the same — you can still spin the fans by swiping.
No ads and no tracking
Twirlio shows no advertising and contains no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising software. We do not build profiles of you or your child, and we don't share data with anyone because we don't collect any.
Children's privacy
Twirlio is designed for children and their families. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we also collect none from children. Our practices are intended to align with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations such as GDPR-K.
Purchases
Twirlio is free to download. It offers a single optional one-time purchase, “Unlock Everything.” All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third parties
Aside from Apple's App Store for the optional purchase above, Twirlio does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or servers.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Because the app collects no data, we don't expect material changes.
